For me, I've been playing close attention to:
Modern Warfare 2

Bioshock 2

Im a huge fan of both games, and really excited for these two, a couple to add:
Half life 2: Episode 3
Left For Dead: 2 (even though this is weird for valve to release a game so quickly.

I'm looking forward to Rock Band Beatles, even though it doesn't work with Rock Band 1/2 :(.

I think after the past year, I've had enough FPS games to last me ten life times.

Why is it dumb? I love this game and it has been endlessly delayed. Or didn't you know that?

I have a PS3 but have played it very little since I got it. I did pay the hell out of Resistance though.

I also have a PS3, and it has never played a single game. I bought it as a blu-ray player, and thought it would be cool if there were games coming out exclusive to the PS3. So far there hasn't been anything that is PS3 only that I would go out of my way for, so I stick with the 360 for games. I don't buy a lot of blu-ray either, since the difference IMHO is very negligable for the extra cost for the discs. The sound is killer, but DVDs that utilize DTS (which is few of them) come close. I really don't think the PS3 is going to make it.

Same here Pushing Tin. I bought an 80gb PS3 for Christmas in 2007, and bought one for friend of mine the same day as a Christmas gift. He has burned out 3 since then and had to send them back, and I'm still on my first one. I've only beaten 3 games, GTAIV, NFS: Pro street, and Marvel Ultimate alliance.

I just don't have time between finishing school, remodeling, planning a wedding and tenants.

Yup, I have two jobs, 3 dogs a parrot a wife and a house on 5 acres, so my free time is lacking to say the least. Most of the posting I do here is on my break time at work.

Consoles lost their appeal after they went overboard with them and hiked up their cost with unnecessary accessories via Blu-Ray and whatnot. I hear the PS4 will be able to cook toast and the XBox 720 will have a microwave.

Anyways to the original point, I'm a bit of a Left4Dead freak, so I am anxiously awaiting part II, although I disagree paying for a sequel that looks more like an expansion or a patch. I played beta Aion a little too, very fun game. I'm suprised no one here has mentioned Starcraft 2 or Diablo III also.

BTW Banning we should start a house thread. I'd like to see your project. We built a house during the past year and have a lot of pics to share as well. Building a new house was hell on Earth!

Man, if they made that PLUS had Blu-ray support, that would be awesome.
I am waiting for Modern Warfar 2, Assassin's Creed 2 (just saw the trailer), and anything Valve makes. I would throw out Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2 but still not sure yet until I see more info, Blizzard has fallen into a trap with their MMO and not sure they can still produce like they use to.

I agree. I just hope Blizzard hasn't gotten too arrogant with WoW, but it seems now they only release a major content patch for that game whenever there's a new major MMO coming out to try and counter it. The rest of their time is spent on worthless advertisements and partnerships with Mountain Dew (in-game mountain dew pet and items, WOOHOO!)
