How bad is it to be dumped by text?
 

To make a long story short, i asked one of my customers/neighbor 6 or 7 houses down from me out for a bite to eat a couple of weeks ago. We went to dinner everything was great, good conversation ext.. She told me she wanted to go out again the following saturday, sounded great. Two days later she text me saying we had better remain friends:confused: and so fourth. She text me back 5 minutes later saying how she really wants to go out again (bla bla) but. Why couldn't she have just called me? I'm still in the stone age, no texting here, never found a need for it.

maybe she sent it to you by mistake...lol

That stuff is lame. People lack guts to do what's right, so they hide behind text.

Run dude. If she comes back and wants to go out and whatnot, just say no. It's easy to spot when a chick is a ton of baggage.

In this day and age, some adjusting is needed, as texting becomes more and more common. I know my last gf would text me messages about looking forward to dinner or some other plan because she was at work or in class at the time. Is it possible that she was in a situation like work that wouldn't have allowed a call at that moment? Even so though, the conflicting messages is reason for alarm, and requires a real conversation.

I'll get some, she walks her dog up and down the street. might take a day or two. For 39 she is preety bangin.

I'm done with it, it was my first date in over 8.5 years. I had fun for beeing out of the dating scene for so long.

at least try it again and give her a shot...maybe she feels uncomfortable dating...or something

Don't feel too bad, when my ex-wife of 25 years moved out, she didn't even leave a note. lol
