I've read that u can use windex or the purple simple green bit not the green version.
Anyone know why? If I use windex I assume I would need to spray the chamber, down the barrel and all around the inside chamber area and probably the magwell I assume. Instead of oil I rather use froglube. Personal preference. Any suggestions on how to get all that Cosmo off on the SKS?

I thought about putting in boiling water but that will be a challenge to find a tall enough pot for the barrel.
I was thinking about wrapping it up and c how well that would work taking off the cosmoline off the metal parts Quote:
