Impressive shooting. The 338 Lapua is known for that kind of accuracy at that range. Of course, if you have to take multiple shots at a target to kill it, maybe you are shooting at the wrong target.... :rofl2:

He's shooting a F Class .284 Win. rifle. Most guys in F Class shoot the .284 Win.

Oh.... :icon14:

I'm used to shooting an M14 and iron sights at those distances, so what do I know? :rofl2:

When you get into the Precision Rifle series. Most shoot a 6mm. Like the 6mm Dasher, 6mm GT, 6mm Creedmoor. Because these have less recoil and you can still see your impacts.

From the first report of the incident with Alec Baldwin I knew it was a live round. Only one shot and it went through a person and into another, blank my ***. Unfortunately a lot of prop guns are real guns with blanks, especially with western style guns like SAA Revolvers. TBH I’m surprise this doesn’t happen more often.

I really sucks that someone died. Even though I really don’t like Alec Baldwin I do not wish this on anyone. I’m disheartening by the people calling for him to go to prison over this. :shakes head:

TBH the Alec Baldwin shooting is starting to look like sabotage.

FYI even I said Alec Baldwin shouldn’t go to prison over this doesn’t mean that he shouldn’t be held responsible in some way. He pulled the trigger on a gun that he didn’t check.

He may not be held criminally negligent. But I bet he will be civilly liable.

There are some lawyers out there salivating like crazy right now.

I now have 0 sympathy for Alec Baldwin. It has come out that the “prop” guns were being used for off hours target practice and Alec might have been a participant in the target practice. Even if he didn’t participate he knew it was going on. Now I’ll admit the sources on this info are not the best but it does explain a lot of things. Him yelling why he was handed a live gun after it happened and some of the crew walking off due to firearm safety make a lot more sense now. More importantly how a live round got on set. :shakes head:

Wifey and me went to Cabela's today. They are getting a lot more firearms related items in. Fixit Sticks for one. And they had the Real Avid scope leveling kit. I got the kit. It was well worth the $69.00. It makes it so much easier to level a scope on a rifle. When we got home. I checked and leveled 6 scopes on my rifles in about an hour. I was close on what I had done before. I've tried different methods, but this was the easiest.

I finished my Polymer 80 940C (Glock 19) kit. I'm not sure, but I think I put the recoil spring in backwards. I've never seen a full length rod show out the front of the slide..

How much is showing? The guide rod on my factory Glock 19 sticks out about a 1-2mm.

That's about what mine sticks out. Whew...

I took it apart and for chits & giggles, tried turning it around. Yeah.... that didn't work. :rofl2:
