Need Help IDing Taurus Revolver

Bought a used Taurus .357 Magnum revolver today. 6" barrel, 7-shot cylinder, double action, no manuals. Looking at the Taurus revolver page I think I have a Model 66 (Model 65 with 7-shot cylinder) but not sure as I can't find any confirming markings on the gun. Is there someway to ID by serial number (didn't see anything on Taurus' site)? Is there someplace to download the user's manual (couldn't find on Taurus)? TIA

Edit: Found the manual. Just had to dig a little deeper on Taurus' site.

Edit 2: When I open the cylinder, there is a "66" stamped into the frame below the slot for the extractor. Hidden by the cylinder arm when cylinder is closed. Found it when I broke the gun down for a good cleaning. Probably the model number but I have yet to be able to confirm this.

Edit 3: Did some more digging on Taurus' site and found a s/n lookup. I'm going blind - the link was very close to the link to manuals. It's a 66B6 (Model 66, Blued, 6" barrel).

My grandma got a Taurus Judge a few years ago and I think she had the same problem (or at least mentioned that it was difficult finding a manual online for her gun). Glad you found it

You have to scroll down to the bottom of Taurus' pages to find the link to the manuals.

The manual for revolvers seems to cover most, if not all, of their models. There is info on what they call a "Raging Bull Style Large Frame" .410/.45 near end of PDF that may be the Judge. http://www.taurususa.com/pdf/revolver-manual.pdf

Nice! I think that's the PDF she found and printed out lmao. This was years ago, she's got it all sorted out now :)

Some thing to remember about Taurus revolvers is they have a life time warranty. The rear ball lock for the cylinder broke/wore out on my 608 (large frame 8 shot .357 mag) and they fixed it for free. Only cost me shipping to get it to them.

If you're having a hard time IDing it just post a picture here as well lol

That's neat. This would be helpful building 300blk cases from 5.56.

From what I've been reading. A lot of long range guys are annealing every 2nd reload to keep the neck tension the same. And are using this to do it.

What I was implying is this annealer would make annealing bulk amounts of brass easier.

BTW I got the MGW sight pusher a long time ago.
Having many HK pistols, it made sense getting one.
FYI it doesn't work with Dawson Precision Rear Competition sights.

Also I finished my USC to UMP conversion a while back but forgot to post the after pics. :D
