Hey gun packin' friends. What is your daily carry ammo of choice?

I generally use Hornady Critical Duty +p 135 gr.

Same for me that's a good round. I either carry those or my own hornady reloads

All good except maybe firulice's Hornady reloads. From a legal perspective, you always want to carry 'factory' ammo, never reloads. The experts (Ayoob and others) recommend it, because you don't want to give a defense attorney any 'ammo' (sorry for the pun) to challenge a legal shoot. If you use reloads, he can claim you were looking for a fight and loaded ammo to 'maim' his client.

Wow never thought of that. Better to be prudent in this liability world we live in I guess. Thanks for the thought

Between my wife shooting alot, and my daughter picking up a 9mm. I had to cast more 125gr RN 9mm with gas check bullets. I did 2, 3 lbs coffee cans. That's about 4,000 per can. Hopefully I'm set for awhile.

1st pic. One of the coffee cans.
2nd pic. Filing the base. Sometimes there is part of the spruce that needs filed down for a flat base.
3rd pic. Finished base.
4th pic. 50 of them ready for gas checks, sizing, and lube.
5th. Checking the hardness of the bullet. They are a little softer then what I like. Not enough tin in the mix. But I don't have any to begin with.

That's what my wife carries. Watch hot reloads and +P's. They will bulge the cases.

I still CC my Glock 19. I'm looking into getting a 43 for those times I need something smaller.

Consider Cook's holsters. Best kydex anywhere.

Water as actually a very harsh test. If a JHP is going to over-expand and lose integrity due to it, water will expose it.
