Anyone else geeking out to SC2? I'm currently 1st place in my 1v1 bronze league. My in game name is the same as the forum, add Nitex if your online. Anything to help pass the time while i wait for parts to arrive!

I'm playing the campaign currently. Definitely liking it. Graphics and gameplay are amazing.

I'm playing campaign as well, I'm liking where the series is going so far. Never was a big fan of multiplayer RTS games though, so I'm rarely online on PvP battles.

^^^ Right on, the campaign seems fantastic! I only played the first few missions to knock the dust off my RTS skills. Then full on league play. My current protoss zealot rush strat seems to work well. Im on a 10win streak!

I beat the campaign on the first day it came out lol. Then all bnet action.

I have yet to put much of any time into the campaign. Im wondering if it placed me in a low league due to a low player score when i did the placement battles. Well i only had 2wins 3 losses in the 5 placement games.

i'm a dork, i'm going through the missions on normal and trying to accrue all of the achievement points i can, then i'll go through again on hard to get the rest of them

I have over 70 matches in each 1v1, 2v2. usually the way placement works is it puts you in the league of the best person you play. say you beat a gold during placement, then lost. you get put in gold league. Also can fluxuate up or down depending on how many people get ahead of you. Or start sucking

I have 170+ matches in 1v1, and just shy of 100 in 2v2 games. I was super rusty when i did the placement matches. I think i just placed low after losing to some low ranked players. I know i play against people in higher leagues as one opponent stated he was in silver.

Rush-infused Bnet games never excited me. Something about the race to the first zealot/reaper/zergling doesn't scream fun.

I agree that a long game full of tech can be fun. But after awhile i just wanted fast wins to increase my league standings and win loss ratio. If i want to have a fun tech game i can always save the rush.
