You asked about letters of rec? As I recall 3 are required. Here is how I would do it 1. Highest officer you worked for that knows you. O6 group/wing commander Minimum. 2. chief master sergeant perferred command chief master sergeant 3. Polical or civic leader that knows you personally. Key is that these boards know the differences when the recommender writes from personal knowledge or not.
