When should a kid have a cellphone?

All the time. Plus my store is located in a very very upscale part of town... There's Bentleys, Ferraris, Lamborghinis... parked in front of my store all day along. When little billy breaks his phone they just drop $600-$900 for a new phone like nothing. I rest my case, I have seen it even come down to "this is just like an ipod touch just has a phone in it" What the parents do not know until the sales rep tells them is you have to have a data package and other things. I stand around and wait for that.

THAN if the parent says no way on the way out I tell the parent I pay for my own phone and plan.
