I REALLY want to get a system for racing games, etc. Not much for shoot-em-up.

From a guy who has worked in the Entertainment packaging business for 25 years. Summer is NOT the time to look for games, etc. Our "Busy season" starts around late July, early August. The mass of games comes out after that. Just in time to hit the Christmas rush.

Yea that sux. We need sum summer games and pre-summer games lol. Although I think Skyrim will take up the next year of mine lol

I would like to say the PS3 is superior for me. I game on PC but the PS3 with its browser and other minor perks make it a better all-around device.

Unless you play online a lot - in which case Xbox Live is pretty awesome.... I have both devices but never found that the PSN could live up to Live. But then again I play MP most of the time and all of my online friends are on Xbox.

Xbox live FTW. Who uses their game console to surf the web. It doesn't even use my whole TV screen.

there is ZERO difference between PSN and XBL as far as game play.
and tbh, PSN is so much smoother.. but thats just my opinion

I had a suXBOX for awhile and was not impressed with the online after all I had heard. I still got lag, playing Gears of War especially. It sat in my closet for about 2 years then I sold it to a friend. PS3 FTW!
