That is F'ed up! How could the first driver not see the child? She was standing right there. And after he knew he ran over her, he just ran over her with the rear tire and fled the scene. And, same thing for the second van...she's right there!!!

How about all those people passing by with a child lying there with blood on the street...nevermind the blood. You see an unconscious, unmoving child on the road and that doesn't look out of place?

Even the cleaning lady who dragged her off the street. She picked her up like she was a piece of garbage.

The whole thing is just so disturbing!

In the most non-racist way possible... this is something I noticed of Chinese people in general here in NYC, maybe its a cultural thing but they seem very distant and living in their own world. Ive seen them run for seats on the train while some old lady was trying to sit in it, and then ignore it as if nothing happened, its like they have no compassion or sense of embarrassment.

I was reading the story of a high school kid in the Atlanta area.

he was hit by a car while walking to school, and no one stopped to help him even though he was lying in the middle of the road for about 30 minutes. Was not Chinese, the people who did not stop were not Chinese. Someone eventually had to stop, park their van in front of the kid to wait for the ambulance so no one else would run him over.

But yeah man it totally sucks. I once saw a turtle trying to cross the road and I stopped, picked it up and put it on the other side. Never seen a person but for damn sure i'd have stopped.

Humanity at its worst.
