There is a system in place to get the fine reduced or eliminated. It's not just about "guilty" or "not guilty" they will have your driving history etc.
I had a case where I was admittedly guilty, the judge saw that I had a bad driving history when I was younger but I have been 100% clean for the last 7 years. She thanked me for changing my driving habits and rewarded me by dismissing the incident. If you have the time & energy, go for it! |
