BTW, *sigh*, and I'm sorry for being history police here...as I know probably all of you will gag at this post. The Texans didn't surrender the Alamo. When Santa Anna raised his red flag, signifying no quarter for any defenders of the Alamo, William Travis responded with a shot of the largest cannon in the Alamo. So Santa Anna sent about a fifith of his army to the north wall under General Cos, and killed all but 5-7 people in the Alamo. Some of those folks were murdered.... the rest were women. Santa Anna gave them a blanket and 2 pesos (seriously) and told them to go and spread the word about the Battle of the Alamo. Santa Anna even "graciously" offered to adopt one of the kids that survived.

Now in order to keep this post on topic. I am sure someone in Santa Anna's army was drinking tequila...while driving the horse drawn Cannons. (sorry it's been a long 16 hours at work, I'm high on caffeine and I'm blabbering)
