2) Though the magnitude was low, the scope was very large

5.8 is pretty severe.

Felt that sh1t here in Baltimore.

i was in a 5.3 in san diego. that one was much more like a wave - up and down . this one was more like rattling vibration followed by small waves for another minute.

First thing I did after the shaking stopped was to run outside and check on my Z... make sure no bricks fell on it. :rofl2:

I heard it was felt all the way upto Toronto :eek:

Doesn't look like it caused too much damage. Also, there was a quake in Colorado earlier. How many more months till 2012?

Felt it here in SE Conn. At first I thought it was someone shaking their leg in the next cube over. :p
