Unfortuntely, I will not be purchasing a home till this time next year. Myself, my fiance, my fiance's brother, his girlfriend, there new born baby, and my younger brother are going to be renting a nice 5br/3.5bth house in a new area, but it might be gone before we can move in. Hence why I am still looking.

If the opportunity arises.... I hope to pick-up a foreclosure.bank owned home within the next year. Pick it up for cheap, and sit on it for a couple of years.

My fiance's parents were thinking about buying a house down the street for them that is selling for $250K right now, and it was selling for $600K a little over a year ago!!

Bayside is pretty nice... My grandparents live in Douglaston which is nicer. I grew up in Flushing, in the pomonok projects.

That is exactly what my mom is trying to get into right now. She is a restaurateur and real estate woman, but she is reading millionaire books and attending seminars about taking over payments on foreclosed properties lol.
