baking the rims can strengthen the metal too..... dunno how it works though.

the molecular structure changes a bit. 450 isnt much, like 700-1000 is...lol

I like both wheels...you can't go wrong with either choice.

I'm thinking it doesn't hurt them...but if they have had to strip the finish each time, that means either sandblasting or chemical stripping (or both) at least twice so far on the same set of wheels.

lol, fusz likes his forgestars...he's e-mailing vossen for me :)

a lot of powdercoaters will sandblast...then chemically remove any residue, then even do a "burn-off" by heating the bare metal to 400 degrees to burn anything else off before coating.
