Grillin' shots are cool too. I just re-did my deck, and retired the old grill. Time for a new one. Want a nice stainless with side burner, thinking of going with the newer infrared burners also. What's your opinion kdo?

StLRedrider 10-03-2009 10:30 PM

where's everybody at?

i think im just old skool when it comes to grillin... ill stick with kingsford and hickory

i just have a 19 inch round weber...

my older brother has a nice one, drum cut in half with the side smoker and a platform on each side for placing things...

i like the infrareds, but im stuck on cooking with charcoal...

LMAO, you and my Dad would get along great :icon17:
He has that exact same grill, and won't do anything but kingsford charcoal. But whenever we cook out over there, "I" am the one who has to hassle with cooking with charcoal :icon17: I admit, there is nothing like the flavor, but I like the convenience of my natural gas grill........... and, I soak mesquite chips and add that to the grill for some great added flavor. To each his own

i use mesquite hickory chips too when we do ribs...i soak em for 15 to 20 minutes and toss them on the coals when they turn white...

:hello: StL.....we're surviving.....one day at a time......gotta make labels for all my grandmothers clothes and personal belongings tomorrow.....and bring some things that remind her of home. We left to get lunch today around 1:30 PM....and when we returned we were warmly greeted by my grandmother with:

Well, where the HELL have you all been???

:icon14:
