while there's lots to see in Vancouver, if you can swing it, a day trip to Victoria (taking a ferry) is also a neat place to go.

scenery, old historical buildings in the downtown, good low key night life. the old downtown harbor area is very cool. google victoria, british columbia I guess.

Personally I go scuba diving there, but its a little cold in the water and need a wet suit.

you can go on whale watching tours too.

last year the SPCA took in over 300 rabbits during Easter time b/c ppl said they couldn't take care of them anymore.
