I'm just over a month of ownership and I have 2700 miles. First oil change at 2500, next one will be w/ red line synthetic. A lot of miles now, it'll slow down when I move closer to work.

Ya my dad works about 50 mile maybe a bit less from our house. If I let him drive the car for a few weeks he can brake it in for me. And he is one of those slow drives that goes under the speed limit.

bought mine on may 2nd...I rolled over 7k miles this morning. 32 mile drive to work FTL

Sometimes, I have those feelings that I could have my Z money into my S13... then I go for a drive and I'm okay again. :icon17:

What makes it worse is I only live 18 miles from work right now.

Think resale value...you might get 10% back of all the money you put into the S13...but the Z value will hold pretty well.

Yeah I know how it is. I can't wait to move. Then I'll just walk to work. It has taken me an hour and half to drive home sometimes. That is just pathetic.

i'm still hoping the Z34 doesn't get nearly as prolific as the Z33

I sort of get that feeling with my bike. My first bike was a 1983 BMW R100RS. I loved that bike than my father told me to sell it and he would help me get a new one but he would choose it. I told him I did not want a crotch rocket he said that is okay. So he got me a Kawasaki Versys. But every time I get on that bike it puts a smile on my face.

That one was directly linked from a website....he cant see Photobucket pictures....I cant see Imageshack....it all depends on whats blocked behind the firewall.

And some of the lamest sites are blocked at my job and considered "Lingerie & Swimsuit" or "Adult Content" and the sites are devoted to something completely different! Again, depends on how they loaded the block into the firewall.....bastages! :icon14:

here's the quick story:

Monday, June 08, 2009 Wheels ordered
Week 2 Told that the wheels have been finished, just need bolt holes drilled and pinstripes done
Week 3 Told that the wheels had defects and they had to send them back to be re-finished
Week 6 Told the new system us up and running, and the delays should stop. New shipping date is scheduled for July 30th(a week later) but they are hoping to be done sooner
Week 7 Told the wheels won't ship on time, they are just now scheduling the pinstriper to come in
Week 8 Told the wheels should be finished today, pinstriped tomorrow, shipped the day after
Week 9 Told the wheels still aren't back from powdercoating, they were avoiding talking to my dealer to even tell him this
Week 9 Told the powdercoater is the problem, and they are now supposed to be powdercoated by August 17th (a few days later)
Week 10 New story, was told that the piano black finish was back-ordered and everything up to this point has been wrong. They instead got some titanium wheels and are going to strip that finish and powdercoat them in a gloss black.
Week 11 Wheels went to the powdercoater, and got sent back saying they weren't stripped enough. Wheels went back to the powdercoater and should be done, pinstriped, and shipped by August 25th.
Week 12 August 26th rolls around and I am told that 3 wheels are done, 1 had a "defect" in the finish so had to go back and get re-powdercoated. This is after a forgestar rep told me that multiple powdercoating heating cycles can cause issues with the structrual integrity of the wheel. They are "thinking" it should be back and finished by friday or monday (31st)
Week 12 Was offered to wait another 2-4 weeks for a brand new set of wheels to avoid "re-powdercoating", or to just have them re-powdercoat the 1 wheel and ship them to me.
Week 13 Was told the wheels are still at the stripper, and supposed to be off to the powdercoater in the next couple days. Keep in mind this has been 3 business days since I told them to refinish the 1 wheel.
Week 13 Was given a completion date of Sep 30th (an additional month) for a new set of wheels.

87.00 days have passed since ordered

LOL I use to work at a chemical plant and my job was to make wiring and pipe diagrams using microsoft word. "ya it was not fun" But I got bored and they had the wireless locked down. So I had a nice little work area office if you will. About 7 ft by 6 ft so i was in there one day bored as can be working on the diagrams. When I start thinking let me see if I can find a LAN line connection. Sure enough there was one right behind the desk! So I hooked it up nothing. So I went over to the other office and was talking to him when he just brings up there is a port box by his chair I was like why would you need that it was all hooked up and all. one wire came out of the wall into the box than one came out to his computer. There was another port on the wall it was unplugged. After I connect that I had internet! I love it and it was not blocked. I still had the rest of my diagrams to do but I could at least talk to some people and have pandora open.
