Whats it matter? If he was a drug addict people shouldnt mourn him. I have no sympathy for those people.

2am-10 is my perfect sleep schedule, of course two days a week i have to wake up at 4am, so that really screws me up.

I do. Being a property owner for many years, and dealing with tenants, I have seen the nicest most innocent people become addicts. Meth and Crack are ridiculous drugs that take over lives quick.

Its also sad how the surrounding family is hurt with having to deal with it.

Addiction isn't black or white, and depending on the person, alcoholism and pill addiction can be much more powerful than any crack addiction.

Just because the FDA and Pfizer approval boards deem it safe doesn't mean that it is.

Nobody said anything about the FDA , etc or anything being said safe. The fact is the drugs are illegal and they should have legally and willingly stayed away. If they had their lives would be different but they chose not to go that way.

I see MANY druggies where I am trust me I have first hand experience also.

I agree! Some very talented people have been lost because of addiction.

They chose to do it. Its not like they got tied down and had heroin forced on them. Why feel pity for their own mistakes?

BanningZ 08-29-2009 02:59 AM

What I mean regarding addiction and pills versus crack or meth, is many addictions begin with prescription pills after being disabled, the body gains a tolerance, they need more, and after awhile cannot get new prescription refills. The next obvious alternative is a street drug. This is especially true of users of Opiates and synthetic opioids.

Many people become addicted to drugs that were legally prescribed for them. Hydrocodone, Oxycontin etc.

I disagree. If thats the case anyways its poor judgment for usage of the prescription

I guess I see what your trying to say but life is not that black and white. Hell look at Rush Limbaugh. Heath Ledger is another one, he just wanted to sleep.

Huh? If I injure my back, go to my doctor because I cannot walk and he prescribes me muscle relaxers and hydrocodone to ease the pain that is poor judgement? Poor judgement from whom? Me or the doctor?

Pills are practically slammed down our throats in this country. Watch 22 minutes of programing on tv and get 6 commercials for pills to cure everything. Its amazing what these things can do with addiction and reaction, and most of the trial testing, does not look at addiction, but more at what is a liability issue.

Addiction in this country is profitable

If thats the case the doctor should be responsible and prescribe the proper MG pills to take. I dont exactly believe in addiction. Its people having no willpower to say no to what they THINK they need because too many are such low lifes to find alternatives to their issues..

I don't understand why the doctor is responsible if the person they are prescribing to has no history of abuse. Are you saying ALL drugs should be illegal? Including alcohol?

Slammed down our throats? I refuse to take medication....I fight things out on my own whether its painful or not. I dont believe in that crap nor will I pay for them to benefit off it.

Alcohol is a powerful drug, causing thousands of drunken driving deaths a year. It should be illegal.......

You're missing the fact here. People who do heroin and crap like that, crack ,etc which is where this "DJ" is suspected of his death dont tie to medications. **** the majority of them cant afford meds! They are just so ****** up in life they want to jack peoples money to get a quick fix!

People dont die from drinking they die from stupidity. Its illegal to get behind the wheel and we have laws against it. People who abuse it are stupid and think they are ok to drive. Do you drink and drive?

BanningZ 08-29-2009 03:12 AM

Most hard drug users admit to being placed on behavioral medication as children for hyperactivity or various other disorders.
