Nice bike, how much did you sell it for? Was the guy from craigslist? Lots of flakes there.

We'll i had it up for sale now about 4 months, started at 7600. obo. Blue books for around 8000., now i had it on craig's list for 6000.00. yes, thats where this guy contacted me from. He says that he "went to the bank and has the money and please don't sell to anybody else"

This is my first time using that site, i also had it on cycletrader.com and in the post, never had any responses. it is a bad time to try to sell anything. i'm just trying to get ready for winter and get some money saved. i do plan on buying a 2010 cbr1000, although i think they are ugly as hell.

i first started riding street back in 94, cbr 900 till present day with the 1000. i have lost 9 friends/ riders in our group over stupid crap or others not paying attention it's crazy as he$% out there, my mom wouldn't let me ride street till i was 18 but i could race motorcross and still almost kill myself.

i had been riding for 15 years and never crashed, i just felt my time was coming and i needed to quit while i was ahead. the Z satisfied me almost as much and i don't get wet or dirty anymore.

Me too. i wrecked a 94 cbr 900 with 17 miles on it, it was a complete loss. hit oil in the road and highsided leaving a friends house. Only wreck on the street i ever had, knock on wood

i don't want a permanent limp or road rash, maybe it was just me getting older. but glad i gave it up.

sounds like a good idea, i just cant do that just yet. perfect way to relieve the everyday stress, and i sure as he$% am not ready for a harley(too young and not fat enough)lol

they are pretty bikes, my dad has a heritage soft tail, but they are obnoxious and about 50% overpriced imo.
