No valid reason at all? Total waste of $600?

You don't need it unless you are seriously tracking the car. It falls under do I need an oil cooler for daily driving... the answer is no

But what if you live in AZ where the Avg temp is 100*+ anyways? Wouldn't hurt for an oil cooler right?

I have no intent of tracking my car....maybe a 1/4 mile run just to see what it can do...but that's it.

And tint...yes, I know....and I still haven't powdercoated my strut bar yet.....I could do both of those and still have money left over. :icon17:

I live in texas, we were over 100 a lot of the summer. I couldn't get my oil temps above 230-235, so I'm not too worried.

Eh, well still I'd like the comfort of knowing its there for those long drives. =)

Caravanshaka 09-28-2009 11:28 AM

It certainly can't hurt. I've thought about building a kit myself since it would only be a couple hundred bucks and I can install it in my garage.

Too bad your in Tx otherwise I'd say lets put our minds and tools (so to speak) together to come up with a cheap effective plan and get both our cars modded. Then sit the rest of the day admiring our craftsmanship lol
