I'm bringing anonymous one night stands back.
Hehe nice. Whatsup Ice man?
Not much. Had jaw surgery, got my jaw wired shut. Have to live on a liquid diet for 6 weeks. Lost 15 lbs in the last 5 days.
^ whoa! Serious. How come?
Correcting TMJ. It was either that, or have a horrible "click" in my jaw the rest of my life, which hopefully, there is another 150 years of.
Wow!
I'm getting implants in the next six months. I was born with the worst genetics known to man when it comes to teeth. Its not uncommon for a big hunk of molar to just break off at random, so suppose I can kind of sympathize. |
I know what you mean about bad genetics when it comes to teeth. My parents had to get fakies in their 40s, my grandparents all have fakies. So sure enough, I couldn't have been older than 14 and I was getting a gum graft
Yeah well maybe we should start the sh1tty teeth club. lol. Anyways they all have to be yanked out and heal for 6 months. literally half of my mouth will be gone. It sucks too because I brush 2-3 times a day, I floss, I use fluoride toothpaste and fluoride rinses.
I just hate being chastised whenever I go to a new dentist. I'm just like, "You know what dude, Fvck off! you haven't had to deal with the genetic hand I have." |
when I had braces when I was 14-16 they straightened my teeth but ended up doing more damage then what they helped. 38K for a new mouth. Oh joy! What did your surgery run?
Yeah, I've had braces for the last 3 years. And then I'll have to get caps and other work. Not to mention the receding gum line that caused the gum graft years ago looks like it's coming back.
haven't seen the final bill on the surgery yet. I do remember a doctor telling me it starts at about 15 large. |
Your lucky actually my soon to be brother in law had his jaw cut in four places for tmj and had two sections of the jaw removed and the initial bill was 23K and thats just from the first bit of work, doesn't count follow up.
I always wanted to start a foundation for people with bad teeth that couldn't afford the dental work. They would be evaluated and anyone with drug use(i.e.: meth, not pot) would be denied. All smokers would have to quit to receive benefits and cases would be looked at on an individual basis. It would be 100% non profit and 100% of care would be paid for. One day maybe, one day.
Edit: I'm a smoker and I have to quit in order for my implants to take. |
Hey Shumby! Where are you?
I have a question I want to ask. |
So how do you plan to stay afloat? What money does get brought in?
^thats the million dollar question.
