it's messed up.... paint is not sticking on right.

not one of those "can you buff it out" type deal

phelan 08-28-2009 01:45 PM

i was hoping it would be too, but i guess not. it's definitely gonna need a new paint job. seriously it looks like the top of my car was done in stucco!

Caravanshaka 08-28-2009 01:53 PM

I love stucco! just not on my car...

FuszNissan 08-28-2009 01:57 PM

Damn, looks like some mositure might have gotten trapped under the plastic protector during shipping and seeped into the clear coat.

phelan 08-28-2009 01:57 PM

all at least my car is REALLY unique now...?!

phelan 08-28-2009 01:58 PM

hey fusz, if i take this to the dealer think they'll help me out? this is a really strange case.

Caravanshaka 08-28-2009 01:59 PM

a bit of good news...I got a partial refund/discount on the wheels. The pinstriping is now going to be at no cost to me.

FuszNissan 08-28-2009 02:00 PM

Yeah, tell them to get there Service Rep involved. Paint is not covered under warranty, but that looks like a paint defect, or mositure in the paint trapped from the shipping plastic.

Well, I was down in Vegas for the Nissan meeting, and they are going to make a Convertible Murano! It looked sick!
