Here's a kicker.... This mutha fka was in the middle of a fkn desert and they found him. Saddam was in a hole in the desert and we found him. But Tupac and Biggy get killed in public streets during rush hour, and nobody knows **** about that?!

Oh.. And wtf did they bury him at sea? A guy like that deserves to be hung in the city.

yeah hang him in the City. Show the world that American's really are "better" than the people were chasing

Exactly. Lets disrespect them and show we dont give a f**k cus were American.

And for those who are ignorant about this, Bin Ladin, is not considered "Muslim" by many. His ideals are twisted and he uses islam as the front to raise his organization.

even so, Its because of comments and many times thoughtless actions like above which puts the US in the crosshairs of many people. It shows that we are not out to do the right thing, but only just to do whatever we want and that makes us nothign more than a fat *** bully.

And for those clammering that he didnt deserve a trial, I believe your saying that the constitution isnt something to be followed. Only when its convenient.

hrmm

maybe this "Canadian" guy posting in this thread knows more about how to be a real american than most of you. /shrugs

(Commence the attacks on me!!)

Geneva Convention states that if someone of that nature is killed that you must bury them in their fashion.

Lemers 05-02-2011 11:34 AM

I know we did a Muslim ceremony and that's fine. But will the Arab world see the burial at sea as a sign of disrespect to Islam?

Excellent point. We are walking a very fine line here. Reminds me of a story (groan)...

Several of Winston Churchill's cabinet members noticed that all the written corresponence he had with Adolf Hitler was signed "Your most humble servant". They complained that Hitler did not deserve that salutation. Churchill responded, "Respect costs me nothing - I still intend to kill the man."

I am actually more curious about why the hell they didnt do an autopsy. Hopefully someone will go out there and fish his body out of the sea and find out what the americans are hiding

No. Burial at sea is acceptable under Islam.

That is probably also true. : ) Its the smartest thing we could have done.

"hang him in the City" or "feed him pork" would just have angered alot of people which is something you dont want. By showing a sign of respect to the rest of the Islam world, who's reputation has been battered by this extremist, we are showing the world that we respect everyone, but this guy was a murdered. Still even so, we respect the rights of his Religion. It wasn't Islam's fault he existed. He twisted Islam to control people. And lastly yes it does conceal evidence. It also prevents his body from becoming a shrine, a calling for other extremists. It quite simply, buts an end to part of this.

Exactly what evidence would that be? Trust me - no matter how it was handled, someone will be upset, or see a conspiracy.
