Best sites on the web for Deals on Electronics, computers, gadgets etc

Well, I have been planning on making one of these threads for a while. In this new millennium, NO ONE really goes to the store anymore. Our lifestyle has gotten so busy, we simply order things online and get the product delivered to our doorstep the next day. Also, not to mention, there are some sites on the web where you can get great deals on things that you need. In the next few paragraphs, I'll name a few. PLEASE feel free to contribute to the list as you find more sites.

thanks.

1. slickdeals:
This is a site that consists of deals all around the web. You'll find deals (links) on electronics to televisions to sweaters -- all in the same place.

website: http://slickdeals.net/

2. Ecost
One of my VERY favorite site. I have been shopping from here since 2002 and I have NEVER had a bad situation. They have an awesome countdown called "Bargain countdown" where you'll find great deals on electronics, tvs, gadgets etc. This site is AK recommended ;).

Website: http://www.ecost.com

3. Tigerdirect
I have always looked at tigerdirect for any of my computer needs (i.e laptops, port HD, etc). I think they have the BEST (cheapest) pricing on all (ready to use) computer related products. Their website layout is great too at it will display the 10 most popular products sold in the category you're looking for.

Website: http://www.tigerdirect.com/

4. Newegg
My friend onetheefive is swear by this site and tells me that it's a great site for computer parts. If you're building your own computer, you can find everything you need from this place at a great price. I have never bought anything but seems like a good place

website: http://www.newegg.com/

5. woot
I don't know how many of you know about this site, but it's an awesome site. They will give you 1 great deal and it'll only last 24 hours (or until they sold out) Shipping is ALWAYS $5 regardless of the Size and Weight!

Website: Woot : One Day, One Deal (SM)

6. Geeks
A site similar to Tigerdirect format. Mostly computer and electronics related site.

Website: http://www.geeks.com/ added by schrack150

7. CircuitCity
When CircuitCity closed out from united states, I believe they sold www.circuitcity.com to a third party. Now these guys have been posting some really good deals . Not sure if they are connected with other big site like tigerdirect or compusa, but it's worth a visit.

Website: http://www.circuitcity.com/

Bump for more sites. If you know a site, feel free to share it with us. Thanks :tiphat:

Anyone looking to buy Flip Ultra HD Pocket Digital Camcorder? HEre's a great deal

Flip UltraHD Pocket Digital Camcorder at CircuitCity.com for ONLY $129! I know it's scratch and dent but reviews are really good.

I have heard good things about it. Tempted.

Also, if you shop from a site that has GREAT deals on electronics and gadgets, please post here. I will add it to our list.

Woot is great but there's also the subsidiaries. Sellout.Woot is typically the only other one of them with electronics and such though.

There's a Woot Off today!

Tigerdirect (as mentioned above) is awesome. I do alot of business with them. Also, if you are in the houston area, look up Directron (located Harwin@Beltway 8).

:ninja3: Also, if you need (or are looking for) more heavy duty hardware look up PC Connection.

vipor 02-25-2010 08:35 AM

Newegg.com has a deal of the day. I get a text message every day at exactly 10a about it. They seem to be way up there when it comes to having a diverse selection of products all with pictures and reviews.

bigaudiofanat 02-25-2010 09:22 AM

I use to deal with Tiger Direct years ago after having trouble with them sending me extra stuff or not what I ordered I went with newegg never looked back.

woofersetc.com is another great one.

nuTinmuch 02-25-2010 09:43 AM

Newegg is amazing.

PriceWatch - Price Comparison Shopping - Tech, Computers, Gifts and a lot more for finding the best deals on computer parts.

Newegg is great, I built 2 computers by buying all the parts from them. Spent probably 4000 on both computers but that price would've doubled if I had gone to other sites or bought a PC from best buy or the likes (getting a pc with comparable quality obviously).

LinPark 02-27-2010 07:34 PM

Another vote for NewEgg - I built the machine from scratch that I'm using right now and absolutely love it. Also used slickdeals and tigerdirect sparingly in the past. Very interesting about Circuit City - I'll have to check that out.

tommyguns 02-27-2010 08:00 PM

I have purchased tons of car audio equipment from them and have never had a problem always a great deal;
FREE SHIPPING MillionBuy.Com - Los Angeles, selling Car Audio, Video including Power Acoustik, Boss, Pioneer, Kicker, Infinity, Lanzar, car audio, installation kits, speakers, subwoofers, car amplifiers, capacitors.

Agreed. My current desktop computer is built from scratch from Newegg. One of my friend built it for me.

Monoprice.com has the best prices for tv stands, cables, and a few other things.

Ive bought 3 wall mounts, 6 HDMI cables, 4 fiber optic cables, 2 VGA cables, and 2 speaker stands. All their products have been excellent and are the lowest prices I've seen on any of the items I purhased.

How about a 3/4" thick flat wall mount for my 55" Samsung LCD for $17!?

Monoprice.com wasn't mentioned until Page 2?!? I've easily made more purchases on Monoprice in the last 6 months than all other purchases this year combined! ALL cables, tv mounts, lcd arms, iPhone cases, USB Video adapters, cat6 accessories... Monoprice FTMFW!

I know this thread is old but I figured I would contribute anyways. I dont know if anybody is into sports jerseys but I order all mine from Readycheers jersey. They come from overseas but they are identical to my authentic jerseys I've paid hundreds of dollars for. I only order NFL and NHL jerseys but I haven't had a single complaint and the quality is there. Shipping is quick too, never takes more then a week.

ankaka 05-23-2012 09:26 PM

Good review, thanks for sharing it.

Huck 11-28-2012 11:48 AM

bumping and old thread, but if you need flashlights or little gadgets for presents or something, check out DealExtreme - Cool Gadgets at the Right Price - DX Free Shipping Worldwide. I got a little flashlight from there that takes one 14500 battery and puts out 235lm, cost me $10.

LinPark 11-28-2012 02:31 PM

^ Seconded! I've bought from them a few times - only thing is that the shipping took a while to arrive so order early for X-Mas.

Huck 11-28-2012 05:36 PM

Agreed. The one I got was on back order and they didn't tell me. Took me a month to get it.

daisuke149 01-09-2013 09:23 PM

just keep an eye out on fatwallet.com and slickdeals.net.

I prefer slickdeals.net mostly.

Also for the best prices on a CPU + mobo combo, microcenter if you have one near you. Their new core i7 is 100$ cheaper than newegg.

Also yes Monoprice effing ROCKS.

Huck 01-09-2013 11:39 PM

Just checked out monoprice, I'm gonna be getting a tv wall mount from there very soon :) thanks guys!

macmall.com

Not only Apple stuff lots of great electronic deals...though I did buy a macbook pro from them. Also bought a Samsung LCD and wall mount. To give you an idea, Best Buy had the LCD I wanted "on sale" for $2600 and I got it here for $2080 plus shipping but no sales tax ;)

Wabbyyy 03-23-2013 07:50 PM

newegg.com has some really good prices for electronics.
