So I was browsing autotrader and I find this:

Totally seems like a Nigerian Scan. His location is listed as San Diego, his phone number is in Missouri and now he says he is in Canada? So I emailed the guy and here's his response:

About the 1991 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo I can say that it does not drip, leak, lean, smoke, pull to one side, vibrate, or make funny noises. The condition is excellent. It has never been in ANY wreck, has never hit a curb, was never hit while parked, the alignment is perfect, it tracks smooth at any speed. It has a clean CarFax which confirms the accuracy of the mileage. Price is $9,995. Title is clear. I will make this deal only through eBay Motors Vehicle Purchase Program because I am away with my job here in Canada. Before leaving I had prearranged shipping with eBay and DAS so my presence isn't necessary. The car is in a warehouse of DAS, ready for delivery. In exchange I will offer a 5 days period of testing the car from the moment you receive it from the shipping company. If you want to make this deal I will need the following details from you:

shipping address:
phone #:

After I will have all this details I will forward them to eBay and I will proceed with the transaction. eBay will contact you with all the details that you need to complete this deal and also to see that I am covered by them. I wait your email with the requested details.

Super generic response. I asked him what the weather is like in Nigeria. He hasn't responded yet.

Find his IP address in the email details and trace it.

I found a similar add a couple of months ago when I was looking for a Lotus Elise before I bought the Z. Guy said he was in Canada for "treatment" but I traced his IP address to NY city.

Yes, it's a scam. If you can find his IP, you can tell where he is communicating from.
