Hahaha. I should dye my dogs hair for the dolphins.... Wait what?!

cow 09-05-2012 02:20 PM

I used brush-in hair dye I found online via Hot Topic's site. They were super adamant it had not been tested on animals, but I'm here to say it works very well on animals.

Safe for animals?

cow 09-06-2012 05:37 PM

It's been a week & my dog isn't dead, so yes, apparently.

I don't know that I've ever seen a tan husky. It's neat looking.

ddot196 09-06-2012 06:31 PM

Love huskies. My ex had one. The goofiest dog I've ever met. Dumber than a bag of rocks tho lol but awesome nonetheless.

Some are - Ive been lucky, they are not directly obedient as they have a mind of their own. You might have to say something twice but they do most of what they need to. Patience goes a long way with them, if you dont have it you will quickly get it or get rid of the dog. I quickly got it thankfully.

Always been fond of German Shepherds, Retrievers, Pugs, and Bulldogs. But I've got a Red Persian Cat and he's a great friend.

SouthArk370Z 09-08-2012 12:03 PM

A lot of great looking canines.

I have an Australian Cattle Dog (ACD) and a Pit-mix (APBTm, or Pit Lite as I sometimes refer to her). The black interior of a Z really shows dog hair. heehee
Here's a pic of the ACD: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/6623582/pic/Poco.jpg
Don't have a pic of the APBTm handy. :(

The ACD is about 6 years old. I got her as a barely-weaned pup that was about to be culled. She might not be a show dog, but she's a great companion.

The APBTm is 12 years old. I got her from one of my daughter's friends who realized he couldn't take care of her properly under his circumstances. She has developed spinal/neuro problems this year. The meds are keeping her stable and managing the pain, but I don't think she has much time left. :(

I like most dogs better than I like most people. ;)

For the record, only Mario lives with me and the gf. The other dogs live at my parents house but they're still my family.

After twelve tears as my beloved companion, Cici B. DeMille suffered a stroke and had to be put to sleep last month. She was a good girl.

Me too. That's always hard :(

SouthArk370Z 11-22-2012 02:16 PM

Thanks for your kind thoughts, folks. It has been difficult - for the last eight or nine years we were seldom apart. She is buried behind the house and a friend is making a marker.
