  • Hendrix -- Axis Bold as Love or Are You Experienced Albums/CD's
  • Ludacris -- Get Back or Blueberry Yum Yum songs only
  • Most AC/DC
  • Any Steppenwolf
  • Any pre-1975 Black Sabbath
  • Deep Purple -- Who do we Think We are Album/CD
  • Yes -- Fragile or Yes Album
  • Pink Floyd -- The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here or Meddle Albums/CDs
  • Cream -- any
  • Robin Trower -- any

I have to stop now...

+1 for Rebel Yell - Billy Idol. Amazing song for a spirited driving session.

I love my NIN for driving (depends on the time of day and mood but NIN has something to fill the bill for any given moment). Favorites: SIN, Head like a Hole, Closer, Just like you Imagined.

Certain songs from Muse, Radiohead, Faith No More and Nirvana are always welcome too.

Same thing on the cobalt forums. Thats because the age group of 370z owners is higher and less likely to listen to rap. Kids these days.....

LunaZ 01-02-2011 08:43 PM

Depends on the drive.
On a road trip, I actually enjoy listening to whole albums. Yeah, I'm that somebody who still does that. I usually pull up Radiohead, Muse and Led Zeppelin on a road trip.
For a spirited run, I go to some fast-paced EDM. I have a DJ friend who makes mixes for me from Scot Project, Tiesto, etc...

My favourite song?
Fast Intentions cat-back at WOT!

It really depends on the drive, mostly the radio is tuned to the country station. But on a warm summer evening just crusing around, nothing beats Bruce Springsteen. His older stuff though.
But 'Sandy' is at the top of the list

I guess I am one of those kids :( haha, I do agree with what Snakes said, the age of 370z drivers are generally higher, guess I am an exception, but hey most 18 year olds listen to rap like I do.

My "theme song" for my Typhoon was "Back in Black" by AC/DC. I still find myself dialing that up when I first start out of the driveway. Gets the juices flowing. Trying to wean myself off it, though. Once I'm driving my usual route to work, I love Zep's "Ramble On". Smooth and clean through the acoustic intro, warm the engine carefully, then.......

BAM!

Nail it when the drums and electric guitar kick in...

Thrash it the rest of the way to work...

You know it might be a good day when you start the Z in the fog, headed to the office, and Rush 2112 plays on XM -- in its entirety. It almost made me blow off work and head to the mountains. Alas, duty calls and adulthood s*cks sometimes.
