Internet tv, kicked the dish....literally

the unfortunate thing is that netflix entire business is based on using tons of bandwith from ISP's who's media/television business they are rapidly eating away at. whats the deal with the net neutrality thing right now? who is the FCC siding with? I'm all for netflix and hulu to be able to continue doing what they are doing, but all i know is that if i was an ISP, i wouldn't be thrilled with the idea that there is a company out there using gobs of my bandwith and using my own network to put me out of business.

Six of one, half-dozen of the other, are some people signing up with hi-spd internet just to utilize services like Netflix? food for thought.

Well ruling has come down that ISP companies cannot charge Netflix/Hulu for excessive usage. ISP companies cannot block these websites. What ISP companies can do is put data caps (200GB a month) like your cellphone, throttle bandwidth (cases pending), or cut your service (I have had a few people get letters).
