lmfao.. I was driving by my local Gamestop and there were about 30 people waiting in line in 30 degree weather! lol ..

we had like 250 people in line maybe more at gamestop.. but yeah we got it.. i played the campaign for about 20 mins then let my brother take it home with him.... he is gonna beat the campaign tonight then give it back

last COD we beat the campaign in like 5 hours max... i beat it in 2 settings maybe 3 he beat it in 1

I got mine last night... The graphics are much better than I anticipated!!! the commercial they look like a pc game but on my tv it looks nice!

I just played live last night and leveled up to a level 15 after about 3 hrs. Anyways its a great game so far and if you want to find me on live hit me up: apocolypse dawn (xbox)

I don't get what's so funny. PC games have always looked better, especially shooters.

is it better than mw2? im not a treyarch fan. im more of infinity ward fan. i hated waw when it came out. horrible graphics. do yall think its worth it tobuy?

I will have to disagree with you on that... The character and object models in a platform system have grown leaps and bounds over PC in the past several years. Mainly due to the higher budget allocated to a platform division of a game. this is in direct correlation to the amount of game purchases on that platform i.e. more people by the Xbox and PS3 versions than the PC versions... Why do you think all the PC guys b!tch and complain about missing features, latency issues with servers, and quality of the visuals.... there is more moeny to be made in the platform business than the pc business PERIOD...

Gameplay is good... its more along the lines of World at War series of gameplay and graphics... if your looking for a Modern Warefare type game I would wait for the new one.... Im Excited already!!! I want to play as a predator :D

HA...got mine at 12:05 last night. I know I am a lame ***....but had to get it.

Its definitly an interesting story line. I definitly like the multiplayer mode better than MW2. I just havent been able to play the Zombie's yet. That is what I am looking forward to!

When they complain about poor visuals, they're complaining that the visuals are being "dumbed down" to the console standards and not utilizing the PC capabilities.

Every game I've played on a console and the PC has had vastly better visuals on a decent computer built last year.

Missing features too is also the result of standardization for consoles. I don't know the details of it, but I know MW2 caused a huge fuss over the way multiplayer was handled, and then there's the fact that maps stopped being free lol.

As for more money in the console business, did I ever bring up money? Of course there's more money to be made in the console business. PC gaming is more complicated, and the average joe doesn't want to put up with it. These days though, the PC versions can also be seen as a "free" version, since the games are developed on PCs anyways.

i played the multiplayer last night and its pretty good, its still COD when it comes down to it. The campaign looks epic, im gonna give that a shot

i hear i missed an even bigger turnout too.

Even when you have the same exact game it looks better on the pc because it runs in higher resolution. I'm picking this game up in a couple weeks for my ps3. I'm tired of the steam bs on the pc.

I agree, the last two cod mw games I bought were for the pc for that very reason. I mostly play the single player anyways. The console isn't too bad, but it feels like a downgrade.

More people buy the Xbox and 360 versions of those games because that is who they are marketed toward -- also the PC fan base tends to be more critical of a game. That and you can mod the hell out of a PC game, you can't really touch anything on console.

Also games look better (and have the ability to run smoother) on PC.

That and competitively, there is no replacement for a mouse and keyboard. ;)

I ordered my copy on amazon and the usps tracking says won't be delivered until the 15th. Really PO'd about that, but I guess thats what you get saving $5 in expedited shipping :)

I feel you on that one. I live in Louisville and Amazon ships a lot of stuff from Lexington, Kentucky, a whopping 70 minutes away. Yet, fedex supersaver takes a week to get here lol.
