370z v.

370z v. the Titanic

Discuss.

shadoquad 10-12-2010 01:30 PM

Titanic has more power and cargo space, but I've not heard yet of someone crashing a Z into an iceberg. Just sayin'

Well, winter is about to arrive...:ugh2:

shadoquad 10-12-2010 01:32 PM

Can't fit the Apache into a parking garage comfortably.

WarmAndSCSI 10-12-2010 01:33 PM

I agree, the 370Z wins. Last I checked, mine isn't stuck at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

m4a1mustang 10-12-2010 01:33 PM

Leonardo DiCaprio has been on the Titanic but he has not been in a 370Z, therefore the Titanic wins. Leo :yum:

Yes you can, you land on the top floor, no need to go into the parking garage.
Also, if parking is full on the top floor you have plenty of ammunition to clear a landing spot.

370z, can park on any floor, but no guns.

Yeah, but the Titantic gets a lot more attention. If you lost your 370Z at the bottom of the ocean, would anyone come looking for it? NO!

If you want to stand out, you get the Titanic. If you want to fit in with all the other garbage at the bottom of the ocean, get the 370.

Lamborghini also does not exist in JeffBlue's mind.

Therefore, 370Z > Jet Lamborghini.

Oh snap.

But...

Think of the recovery cost and cost of liability if you actually were to own the Titanic and it sank. The 370Z is definitely much less of a liability, though it would almost certainly sink the second it hit the water.

GZ3 10-12-2010 01:40 PM

Titanic may have more power and cargo space, but the Z could take it in the twisties...its just has a better overall "feel"

Pics or it didn't happen. We don't know how buoyant a Z is yet.

Indeed. It's all about the power-to-weight ratio.

And don't forget about the HP per Liter factor! I guarantee the 370Z wins there.

theDreamer 10-12-2010 01:46 PM

Titanic power: 59,00HP
Titanic weight: 46,000 tons

BS, the Z can take it as long as the doors are kept out of the comparison.

But you can legally drink on the Titanic.

Titanic > 370.

Outside of the doors, the 370z wins easily. When you consider the doors, Miata rapes the Z's sister and gives it the condom.

My spec sheets tell differently.

Titanic gross weight: 46,329 tons

370Z gross weight: 3968 lb = 1.98 tons

Titanic power: 46,000 hp

370Z power: 332 hp

-------------

Titanic: 0.993 hp/ton
370Z: 168 hp/ton

370Z WINS!!!

m4a1mustang 10-12-2010 01:52 PM

370Z wins. Batmobile only had 350hp and bad handling.

********. The 370Z would sink off the line.

It had a maximum output power of 59k, it operated normally at 46k.

370Z vs. Nancy Pelosi.

her hot air would cause the Z to overheat, no?

Pelosi > 370Z.

Titanic > 370.

If you convert the 370Z to traverse the polar regions, you can also legally drink in it. It's technically sailing; precedent set by Top Gear's James May and Jeremy Clarkson. :tiphat:
