Durrr! I even had the upgraded tranny, but I didn't see the option to change the settings for it! That's awesome. It's actually really nice that you can tweak the top speed / gear ratio for each track. Definitely handy.
Oh, and I just won the Veryon for completing the last level on Professional or whatever. I upgraded what I could on it (up to around 1160HP) and did a few test runs with it. It seems very similar to the GT-R. AWD and gobs of power.. and understeer, haha. Should be a fun car to take to some races
