That's a real good wheel for the price.

for those interested... i tested the fanatec CSR wheel on GT5 and it works great! i even used it on the X2010 Suzuka challenge as the ultimate test and the wheel felt great

I wasn't all that crazy about the DFGT so I opted for the G27. The G27 such a better wheel and it can be quite frequently be bought for around $200 plus now it is fully supported in GT5.

Im on a dfgt until it breaks then Im gettin a g27. For the price Im amazed at the quality of that wheel. I have been on it for years and I cant seem to break it. The key to really having fun with a wheel is having something proper to mount it too.

Was gonna get a g27, but I caught "I want it now", and there were no g27s in stock locally.

I may upgrade once I learn how to not suck.

I was rippin on the wheel very shortly after I got it. Its lightyears better than driving on the controller. You will be killing it soon.

Well, the DLC has been delayed until next week. It hits Europe and Asia today but somehow us Amercans got screwed. Boooooooo.

Yeah. Def gotten better. Think part of the problem was being lazy:)


Need a sturdier desk now.

S How you set the wheel up is very important. Having my professionally made racing seat makes all the difference. When I started out I was desk mounted too. Worst part was the pedals slipping around. While it worked for the time being nothing beats good cockpit. When its all mounted sturdy and you are seated in a proper driving position you can really have at it. Drifting with a wheel is especially fun:tup:

i got that stand and i just set up my g25 on it in front of my couch. it's not perfect but i don't have the dough or room for a real racing seat. i'd definitely recommend it, for the price.

I spend a lot less building my own setup. Grant it that I can't fold it up and put it away but fortunately I have plenty of room to have one.

I really isn't all that big. The measurements are roughly 2 by 4 feet. It's no bigger than the chair in front of your computer monitor.

Did it the second it was up.

im stuck in the 1:36's i did that on a cold first lap in my playing session....so on my 2nd and so on lap im up to speed and so much faster through the first straight that i blow by my ghost and am like .7 secs ahead but i always loose that lead by the end...so if maintained that lead and then did a turn or so better i would be in the 1:35s ..so i got to keep trying

lol not just that...having a secondary hacked system means that i have over 50 games now that I have waiting in the line to be played

I finally turned it on last night, downloaded two updates, started the Time Trial just to get the Spec-V R35, did one horrible lap and then shut it off and went to sleep :icon17:

i got down to a 1:35.73 last night... still got a little time i think i can knock off

im leaving alot of time in the corkscrew... if i can shave some off that i might can get maybe half a sec better...


yeah i really like the course... and the event isnt frustrating like some of the other time trials(SLS AMG top gear **** that event).... i think thats why ive spent a good amount of time on it and keep improving
