Wow even though I removed the picture myself, photobucket deleted seizure spider anyway, apparently it was a violation of terms of service. :icon14:

Their actually not that much of a stretch as most all bugs and crabs are related (Their all Arthropoda) hence why some spiders sorta taste like crab.

Great thread I luv bugs.

There are some restaurants in singapore that use coconut crabs in their famous chili crab dish. Very tasty

Aside from a spider hiding in my water bottle straw and me slurping it up, I've never ate a spider so I don't know what they taste like...

What spider did you eat?

(I used to be arachniphobic... This just gave me the chills)

BanningZ 03-09-2009 04:02 AM

At least this is a myth.

snopes.com: Spiders Swallowed Per Year

Crash 03-09-2009 04:05 AM

LOL! As much as I agree with that, fans of chocolate candy will find that there is an "acceptable amount" of bugs and feces in chocolate. Sick but true. I don't eat chocolate all that often, but I always try to forget that fact.

^The Disinformation Book Of Lists by Russ Kick just one of the things listed.
One of the greatest books I've ever owned.

Looked to be a tarantula or something similar looking anyway.. Some locals we visited while on a south american (brazil) trip, roasted some up over a campfire. Not bad once you get over the idea. ;)

I've alway loved Ant Lions! They remind me of the ear bugs in "The Wrath of Khan" KHANNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

frost 03-26-2009 09:53 PM

I can't get any frame of reference for how big it is, but I do know it's neither ant nor lion.
