Took H geometry, H alg 2, H pre-calc, AP Calc AB/BC in hs. Then went on to Calc 3, Diff Eq, and Linear Algebra in college. Damn engineering requires so much math.

Unless you enjoy doing that kind of thing, you would hate going to school for engineering. It's really difficult and a lot of work. Would be even more hell if you were not interested in what you were studying or at least the field of work you were aiming to get into.

sexZness 08-19-2011 03:59 PM

if it's mostly math, i'm game :D

It's a combination of math and science. In school, it's more math. In industry, it's more science and problem solving. Calculations are still necessary, but you have a lot of software out there that can do the more difficult stuff for you.

sexZness 08-19-2011 04:19 PM

That still sounds fun... dammit >_<

It's never too late to go back. It's just going to be a little expensive. Definitely worth it in the long term IMO.

i had alg 3 & calc in high school and took a brief (but awesome) experimental math class at NC governor's school. wish i remembered it all but i can hardly remember anything more than a few of the crazy things we covered in the experimental class

b1adesofcha0s 08-19-2011 04:29 PM

Oh yeah I also took AP Stat in HS and will probably have to take some sort of Stat again in the Spring.
