We've been married for 10 yrs 10 months now, but back then it was one hell of a surprise to everyone.

Hi mom and dad. I know I just back in town but wanted to tell you I'm gonna marry this girl that I use to know and just started talking to again over the phone and you don't know and no she's not pregnant.

haha that had to be an epic Oh sh-- moment for them. Props.

Also, congrats on nearly 11 yrs marriage, duder.

That's just how Christmas is at my parents' house. It's a focus group. They focus on the biggest screw up of the year.

My second best home coming was coming home from Korea and visiting my parents right after I switched from the air force to the army and my dad is a retired air force COL. So I had to explain the process and decidsion to him face to face. I avoid them for Christmas and went to my wife's grandmothers house.
