Oh, ok. I was under the impression you could get your MEB's done at home station. (mine was anyway). And then, based on that (yea or nay), you move on to the PEB phase and that could be an IPEB or a PEB--which would be the inperson board vs the "paper only board".

Not sure. You could be right. I thought he said he was going to Wilfred hall. Maybe he has some strange disease that can't be treated in Minot.

I just googled Wilfred hall and I was wrong, it's a Lackland, not randolph.

I suppose that's what happens when you mess with tranny hookers...:happydance:

That's what got him the MEB in the first place.

:rofl2:

Ok, I have a sleeping disorder, Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome, no crab infested Tranny named Thomas from Thailand I assure you... :ugh2:

But yeah, You do your IPEB at home station. (Informal) and if in most cases they come back favorable, you accept the findings and boom you're done. However the findings in my case were not right, in my opinion. They were going to give me nothing whatsoever. And I think that is wrong, so I am fighting it and going for the MEB/PEB whichever you prefer in Lackland. Hopefully with the new doctors, and an attorney at my side, they will hear me out and believe me. If I can walk away with an Honorable, then so be it, if I can walk away with an Honorable and Severance Pay, even better. But we'll see.

You guys are nuts. :bowrofl:

**** You Patrick!

/\ gotcha. I went as far as the MEB/IPEB phase, didn't need to/want to go thru the PEB and dispute their ratings since I felt it was fair enough. Good luck at the PEB and good move lawyering up, the SOP is to deny whenever possible and only grudgingly award the least amount possible so having a lawyer is a good move (I did too and I am 100% sure it's why I'm not a homeless CDV right now).

Yeah, they gave me nothing in the IPEB. No medical discharge, no honorable discharge, no sev pay, nothing. Basically a "Don't let the door hit you on the way out" And I said Eff that. I've got nothing to lose, so might as well go for it and waste some more of their time since they're wasting mine.

Have you got your LOD's lined up documenting your issues? (or maybe I'm just thinking about my injuries which were incurred during combat which require them)

Also, have you gotten civillian docs written documentation on your injuries/conditions and their written opinions on how it is negatively affecting your job performance/ability to remain AD?

My disorder has been lifelong, yet never diagnosed until this year. By a Civilian doc, yet my commander doesn't believe it. So no one here really does. They think I just kept going from doc to doc until I got someone to agree with me. And since my disorder isn't something you can actively test for, you can't do some procedure to say yes I have it. It's based on subjective conversation and my lifelong experience. So they say that since there's no testing, he must have been a hack. It's really stupid... Considering if I had sleep apnea, there'd be no problem. I'd get 50% disability and be on my way. But Anxiety caused by their disbelief and overpunishment, and I'm just making it up... riiiiiight.

I'm sorry to hear that man. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. I've got to be honest with you though, w/o LODs and all the other supporting documentation, it's a pretty uphill battle. Have you started preparing your medical docs etc to take to the VA once you get done with the AF?

I have a copy of everything that's been given to me, no LOD's at all. I dunno what all to expect honestly, I'm not really expecting it to go my way since big brother looks after it's own... They even told my congressman eff you when he inquired about why they demoted me (for having a medical condition). So I doubt I'll get anything better, this is just for me to say that I tried everything.

You might want to contact one of the service orgs (like local VFW for ex.) about getting your stuff together so you can basically leave AD and the next day be dropping off your application for medical benefits etc with the VA the next day.
