As the sun gets hotter over the next billion years the oceans on Earth will evaporate into a layer clouds creating a greenhouse effect and the ice on mars will melt forming oceans and releasing an atmosphere. Maybe making it habitual for man kind until the sun gets too hot and burns it's oceans and atmosphere away.
