It's an ok movie. I have a soft spot for 80's horror and sci-fi. I feel like modern CGI-driven effects are not as entertaining. The older stuff required some amount of physical craft and optical illusion. Plus it was more imaginative.

The original Predator was cool. So were some of the original Hellraiser movies and the first two Alien movies.

Total Recall was baller, too.

I just don't dig the CGI era for big action movies. By trying so hard to make things look real, they've actually made them less believable for me.

I completely agree with you on that one...

But then again, I just hate sci-fi horror movies... they're just dumb lol. And the acting is sooooooo subpar lol

Fair enough. But that's half of what I do like. When the acting is so terrible that it's unintentionally funny. that's money. :bowrofl:
