I don't agree with all the conclusions they come to here, and I don't like the blatant ad for their academic institution, but it's still cool.

Would you DD it? If so, would the Z be more comfy? If not, would you mod it to insane level again like your old one?

I'd keep it relatively stock (I hope).

Should be comfy enough for me. I don't mind the s' tight fit.

I do want a vert too.

That's cool. Yeah, even the Z can be tight on me lol, so you can imagine why I can't DD an S2k.

And I feel you on the vert. I do prefer the looks and performance of a coupe to a convertible in nearly all cases, but driving with the top down is incredible fun.

Yeah I don't see myself ever buying one for that exact reason.

I've owned/driven a few in my time. The main detractor for me right now is that most of the ones I like are much more expensive than their hard top alternatives. I can't justify the cost :(

But driving one, especially a fast one, is pure driving pleasure on a scale that a coupe struggles to match.

trade you our weather. It's been raining since Monday, supposed to go straight to next weekend, take a 2 day break, then rain some more. :(

sexZness 09-09-2011 11:21 AM

omg like this week has been nothing but PERFECTION (weather-wise)... unfortunately, this usually only lasts a week and happens once a year :icon14:

That's why I love the s...there is no coupe. It looks great as a vert because it was designed as one.

Very true.

In many cases, with some exceptions, purely designed roadsters (S2K, MX-5, Boxster, SL) look and perform better than roadsters based on equivalent coupes (Z, Mustang, etc). At least that's my opinion.

Red__Zed 09-09-2011 11:58 AM

It's an opinion supported by facts, so it's the best kind.

Your dollies were always quiet, considerate tea party guests, but you have to admit they were always a little lacking on the conversational skills. Share your cucumber sandwiches with a more animated audience at Virginia's beautiful Historic Rosemont Manor with today's dainty deal.

Take a tour of the 200 year old mansion where past US Presidents and celebrities frequented. Then sip fruit infused teas, and nosh on three courses of finger sandwiches, pastries, and chocolates at the manor alone for just $29 (regularly $60); or bring along some non-fabric friends for a full on tea party of ten people for $285 (regularly $600) or for 20 guests for $550 (regularly $1,200). Then enjoy some non-imaginary fun by touring the elegant 1811 estate. Sitting cross-legged on your childhood bedroom floor was all well and good, but this grown up tea party is a serious upgrade.
