crazy thing is they're 12.8s. S2k guys would have killed to be able to run them.

I say you keep it, drop some redline MT85 fluid in the trans to help smooth it out (I thought I read you were frustrated with the tranny) and just enjoy her. :tup:

yeah, stock base brakes are actually not too bad, but hey, you can always improve on them. :tup:

Just having looked at S2K's in the honda showrooms over the years (used to own an element for a dd), I always thought the car came with some sad looking brakes.

we will see. Trans is just one of the issues I have. I'm not willing to sell it for a ridiculously low price, which seems to mean I'm keeping it.

Yeah, I think we're also conditioned to assume big and blingy brakes are good. Too much advertising or something. I know my S stopped better with stock brakes and good rotors and pads than most of the ones with BBKs did.

no doubt, I even find myself falling for the bbk is always better mentality even though I'm well aware that it's not always the case. just something so cool looking about 6 pot calipers painted a bright shiny color...:yum:

The diff whine is annoying, I have the car going in to the dealer for like 12 rattles and the ECU whine...it's gotten to the point where I'm sick of it.

Then there's just the stuff like the engine, which I've never been a fan of, the sloppy feeling trans....I'm also just kinda bored with the car. Maybe I've just been spoiled, but it doesn't really inspire me.
