Who knows... I understand the risks involved with it and all, but it's not like they're selling something like drugs. It may have to deal with the government's inability to tax it, meaning they can't make money off of it.

I'm sure it has to do with the spread of diseases as well, but I'm sure mostly the money. Legalizing prostitution and marijuana right now and taxing them could do a lot to help the government recover from the mess we are in.

If prostitution was legal, the government could create regulations, like in Amsterdam. There, you have to be clean in order to do it legally. Government approved hos!
