I think the credit companies know about you than the govt CARES TO. With all your utilities and luxury items (cable internet, satellite, cell phones), all of that info gets sold to several data collection companies who turn around and sell it again.

I think you misunderstand the whole 'Big Brother' thing.  I think the issue is whether they have the access to find out everything about you IF THEY NEED TO.
