It's so they are not walking around with their "Pants on the Ground".
I'd imagine that's actually the reason (not the song or Idol Guy), as they prefer the waist to be at their mid thigh, thus causing issues with the rest of the pants bunching up at their feet. So instead of baggy pants, they got "smart" and went with baggy Capri pants that do not drag the ground, but can be worn mid-thigh to be "gansta" in Capri pants... |
