haha nice. I want to drive a shifter kart soooo bad. Heel-toeing through a corner in a go kart would be so bad *** lol

haha word. Man I am the dirtiest kart driver. I seriously LOVE sending people into walls. Crashing people and laughing about it > getting the best times. Even tho I could rape people anyways haha

In Jerz a few yrs back me and my friend tag teamed this kart with 2 girls and sent them spinning into a wall LMAO. We got shut down :(

I know what you mean, quick story time lol

I was at the beach doing some pretty slow go karts, well this stupid kid is in front of me trying to make me spin out. He keeps hitting his rear wheels into my front in hopes of doing what I do not know. Well I start to get irritated so I tell him if he does it one more time I was going to put him into a wall. Well the little guy tries again. I had enough, so I promptly dived down toward the infield and then ganked the wheel right at this kid, nailed his rear wheels. He spun and hit the wall HARD. Turns out I hurt him, oops lol. His dad then tried to fight me, I chalk it up as a win in my book. I kinda felt bad for hurting him though.

:bowrofl: teaches him right for trying to take you out when he is in front!!!!

that's what I was thinking, he just kept trying. Now as a side note these karts are mad slow, so I really don't think I hurt him. I think he was faking it to try to get me in trouble.

Wow, seems so fast in the carts when you're scraping on the ground.

So, this past Saturday I'm sure you didn't see me on the forum and the reason was I was having a good time Karting! :driving: We initially wanted to go to NJMP but they were completely sold out for the day  due to 12 hour big endurance racing on their regular track. Busy track day = busy karting day = no karting for us :( (we usually do arrive and drive. Slots are open to MiniGP (group of 8) first) Well, we decided to drive to New Castle, Delaware for karting. This is usually our winter karting place. It's indoor and karts are slightly slower than the NJMP ones. As usual, a lot of fun. I was especially excited since this is the first time I'm gonna try out the GO PRO HD on the helmet. Big thanks to ilive2win for a great mounting technique. I was able to move the camera 6 different ways with this mounting method. I recommend this method. Just for fun, I switched the cam to backward in our 2nd run :icon17:. Got a fun little footage from that. In our 3rd run, we broke all our previous lap times. Me, alefcole, onethreefive are pretty close. Here's our last run slip:

Btw, that dude in pink shirt would NOT let me pass :shakes head:. I bumped into him like twice and that's after me trying to brake (because you bump = you lose time/momentum). I think I lapped him on the run 3 (not on the video :D)

Those karts really loose a lot of power on tight turns, don't they?

They don't lose the power but if you take the turn with too much speed, you'll just slide. When you slide = you lose time. Also, following the lines are very important (at least in this track). Did you see how I overtook those guys in turn? I have a better line than them. Basically in some turns I kick the brake once and then take the turn. Halfway into the turn I start to accelerate (slow in, first out works great for karting)

DAMN!...that is kisk a$$!! Is that open to the general public or do you need a special license? The NJMP is not too far from me....about 1.5hrs. I would like to try that sometime.

that's a special kart. They let those karts drive on the big track only during special events. The karts you will be driving (on karting track) in NJMP are similar to this

(that's an actual kart from NJMP Karting )

They do like 50~55 MPH, right? I think that's what I read/hear from their website.
