I've never kept a car long enough to replace spark plugs until now. Never done it before obviously, and looks pretty straightforward and simple.
There seems to be a discrepancy between on whether to remove and replace the plugs when the engine is hot or cold, as I've read both. Thoughts? |
What an incredible day, the weather was a 10/10.. I knocked out an oil change on the Supra.. about to watch the Florida State Seminoles take on the LSU Tigers, prime time!
With an ice cold corona w/ lime in hand. Life is peachy boys and girls. :iagree: |
Gotta stay strong dudes. (and frosty). :icon17:

And definitely on the dielectric grease, but I read on Denzo's website that they advise against on lubing the threads? |

The instructions also stated they come pre-gapped to .44 (which is what my car calls for), and the sales person also said the same thing when I asked for the measuring coin, but came out to be at .35, so basically the instructions seem to be worthless. |

Go Florida State! :iagree:

Nothing to it. Took about 30 min. to replace 4 plugs. For 120K miles, the plugs were not hard at all to get out (I saw many people had issues on getting these out, and some where it broke off inside the chamber. Cylinder 1 had a little bit of oil, and all the plugs had a wide gap. Decided not to use a torque wrench for the plugs, and hand-tightened and gave a little more with a ratchet.

Abolish the ATF.
https://www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendm...nd-check-rule/ Also abolish the FBI, DEA, etc. They are all corrupt. Every one of them are traitors. Everything should be left the the local Sheriffs. |

Why not just spend the few dollars for a torque wrench though? You can use it for more than just this.

"‘Something to do with America?’ When asked why we observe Labor Day, these Gen Zers ‘have no clue’" As I have said many times, society is becoming more and more ignorant, degenerate, and dysfunctional. |

"Expert says ‘some kind of miracles’ needed in 'world of real estate' to reverse trends" The ONLY "miracle" we need is more housing supply. This will solve home pricing and affordability (not lowering rates). "We've been stuck in this cycle now really since COVID. I think that people are just kind of waiting for things to change, and it might not ever change," The Rogers Healy Companies CEO Rogers Healy said on "America's Newsroom" Thursday. Absolutely wrong. We've been stuck in this cycle since the housing crash in the late 2000's, and the effects were more pronounced during and due to COVID. "I think that real estate continues to drive our economy. And I think people are going to hopefully find a way to bring out some kind of miracles in the world of real estate. And it's going to obviously be around interest rates, if not other options as well," he added. Ya think?? Real estate alone is THE biggest driver of this economy, and probably of global proportions. And wrong again. Stop focusing on interest rates and focus on finding a property you can actually get under contract. IMO, people are worried about the wrong elements: interest rates and a supposed "housing market crash". Rates will not be coming down anytime soon. Look at what the Feds are doing and look where inflation is currently at. There is no housing market crash to come, at least not to the likes of the late 2000's. There's just not enough homes for this to happen and no where near the amount of toxic mortgages in the secondary market compared to previous times. For the homeowners in which their homes are foreclosed, these will be sold very quickly due to a severe shortage of inventory (meaning there are way more buyers than foreclosures, let alone general supply.) |

"Cannabis use disorder is common in one state where marijuana is legal" No way. So using drugs has a negative effect? Ya don't say.... For those that argue that medical weed helps patients, my response back to you is there is ALWAYS more than 1 solution to any issue. |

I personally have never done drugs not because I'm a "goody-two-shoes", but it just doesn't interest me. Same with alcohol. I will have a beer on a very rare occasion, but Red Bull Zero and water are my go-to's. I don't agree with legalizing weed nor "medical" purposes of it, and I think the min. age should be raised at the very least. I was 21 once and though I didn't do drugs, I did some stupid sh!t and made dumb decisions. Imagine if you mix drugs/booze with immaturity in an already degenerate society with each new generation becoming more and more dysfunctional. |
