The Great Resignation is under full swing...... Demanding folks go back to the office and demanding they get their shots or else. It is going to get ugly. Me, not bothering me a bit. Plan on getting my shots anyways.

The 'requirement' to get the vax is also driving the shortages we are seeing. Lots of union truck drivers are saying 'up yours' when places like Tyson won't let them on the lots to pick up loads unless they are vaxxed. Why do you think USPS was made exempt from the vax? They threatened to strike and I suspect the Teamsters are telling their drivers to not pickup loads from companies requiring the vax. The decision to get the shot or not, should be personal. Federal over-reach started the Civil War...:rolleyes:

This is just the start. As more companies requiring employees to be vaxxed. More people will not get it.

The problem is they don't straight up tell you that. They are insinuating that you will be let go. So, people are resigning. It is happening where I work. I am sure someone is having an Oh CHIT moment. 3/4 of the people
I work with are not vaccinated. No way can they survive without us all. We are thin and crispy as it is.

It will be interesting what they do. It has been quite. Everybody is bitching. Even the VP's. This is what happens when Corporate is in Seattle, Washington. That is where folks are resigning in herds.

Think I would let them fire me. Then start a class action lawsuit.

LOL, not doing that. I need my vaccines anyway. Why, to keep the wife and I out of the hospital if we do get it. The only folks that make money in a class action are the lawyers and law firm.

Right now my company is mandating that we provide details on whether or not we are vax'd or not. Supposedly this is for insurance reasons ( similar to whether or not you're a tobacco smoker ) because if you're not vax'd your premiums will be higher than a vax'd employee. They are being very cautious on mandating you have to get the vaccine tho ---- at this time.

There are companies (United Airlines comes to mind) that are charging their employees an extra $250 for their health insurance. The article wasn't clear if that was per month or on the annual premium. :icon14:
