They changed the weather forecast over night. It was forecasted for 65% rain today. Now it's only going to be 7% chance. :icon14: The range opens at noon. Think that will be where you will find me. Making holes in paper at 300 yards.

You may have more money invested in your 5.1 system than my buddy spent on the 5 speakers and receiver I'm borrowing. $40 per pair for Klipsch spkrs and, IIRC, another $40 for the receiver. Don't remember what he paid for the Norman but probably about $10. So, $130 for the rig. He loves garage and estate sales. :)

Klipsch makes some great speakers and they're made in Arkansas, USA! They have started making some spkrs in China, but the four I'm borrowing were all made in Hope. The guys that started Norman Labs came from Klipsch.

Edit: Found out he has even less than I thought invested. $10 each for the four Klipsch spkrs. The Norman Labs spkr was part of a system he picked up for $40 (the other half of the pair was detroyed in a flood), so let's say $5. Tha Nakamichi receiver came with a cassette deck - $5.00 for both so $2.50. Total = $47.50. He's a cheap bastard. :)

The weather service does the same **** here too. E.g., They'll forecast 3% chance of rain, but when they get it wrong (almost daily) and it starts pouring, they automatically change it 99% 10 minutes into the shower. Completely worthless! :icon14:

Good weekend so far. Sold the GMC Sierra. Glad to get it out of my driveway, and glad not to have to work on those trans lines any more!

Also took my buddy for a drive in the Z, he loved it. Got to open it up a bit a few places. Sounds great, car pulls hard.

Crossed the 100 mile mark with the onewheel today. Made poke bowls for dinner with some red argentinian shrimp. Nice relaxing weekend. Gotta prep for a cousins wedding next weekend. That's going to be a drunken debauchery.

Morning all! Hope you misguided misanthropes are feeling recharged after the weekend. I certainly do.

Heading to a cottage in Maine for an extended weekend, leaving Thursday and returning late Monday. It'll be the first time that 95% of my family is together since Covid started, stranding us in different states and countries.
