Congrats on the new ride  :driving:

Which forum(s)? I'm on a couple but the only one I'm really active on is bimmerforums. I picked up a 98 M3 4dr 5spd from a buddy a while back.

Got a bit of sad news I've secretly been holding back for a few weeks and that is "I sold the Z" Yup that's right!! she's officially gone.

I couldn't wait for the NEW Z and had to buy a new car.

The Z was just staring to give problems left and right engine trans issues and I just didn't want to pour a bunch of money I was never getting back.

With the good market on used cars I was able to get 16k for it and was quoted 1k off msrp on the new car with no added B.S.

I really wanted to replace it with a Supra premium but locally all wanted min of 3k above msrp. Hell No!! and the used was at msrp :shakes head:

I went with my 3rd choice a 2022 BMW 430. :excited:

I hope you guys can forgive me for leaving the 370Z fam.

I've meet incredible people and it's been a pleasure looking after things even though I have had my limitations (Admin Permission)

I've constantly owned a Z, 74, 70, 90 ,09 for more than 35yrs so change was due.

I still have the 70' 240Z to wrench on. ;)

Anyway I'll still be here online looking after things albeit not as often as well as the BMW forums learning about the new ride.

Here's a quick pic I took while shopping the other day.

The color is Brooklyn Grey and hope you guys like it although it has the controversial beaver teeth grill :ugh: I like it.

Thanks for taking the time to read and enjoy this Sunday Morning! :tiphat:

dude, you were going to get the Supra but ended up with the BMW, you're gonna love it man, you my friend, you have good taste.:tup:

They are also going to detail it for me and Brian might do a Youtube video if he has time. Should get it back soon tho. :tiphat:

hummm... 1500 miles, one way, 3,000 round trip x twice year = 6,000 miles x 9 years = over 50,000+ miles! :driving:

Most times. We come out to Denver. Then go to Bloomfield NM to see the youngest boy. Then head home. Stopping to see friends along the way. Figure about 4,000+ miles this trip. :driving:

Rusty 12-20-2021 04:32 PM

The Z done the trip once to Denver and a trip to Rawlings Wy.
The truck has done it 4 times. Plus it went to Moab 5 times.
The Jeep has done it 6 times.
The motor home has done it 4 times plus going to Lake Powell.

It will be a handful, but it can be controlled somewhat with your right foot. You will also find out it doesn't die out the higher the rpms go. It will just keep pulling and pulling all the way to redline. Hit the next gear and more of the same. It ain't no big block.

They do good to a point. 1st and 2nd will be useless without boost by gear. Anything below 70 deg and they are just about useless.

Christmas is cancelled :(

My dad and my brother-in-law both tested positive for Covid yesterday. Literally found out when I arrived home after purchasing over $300 of prime rib (8 bones) to smoke

Enjoy your day everyone :hello:

Is what it is. No one has any symptoms. Wives and kids in the households tested negative. Could be worse.

lol well it just sucks that I can't share it with my family. Thankfully got two halves; each one is 8-9 lbs. So probably smoke one and do a small shindig at the house with some friends on Christmas. Then save the other one and smoke it whenever we reschedule the family Christmas.

JARblue 12-21-2021 12:07 PM

My at home test was negative yesterday. Gonna do a clinical one today just to be sure. I've got tickets to the Texas basketball game tomorrow so I want to be extra cautious before I decide to attend.
